  1. The Lou Shorten Tribute Weekend

    The MGCC Magnette Register invite all Magnette Owners to it’s final event of the year ‘The Lou Shorten Tribute Weekend’.
    Saturday morning & afternoon will be at John Shorten’s home at Lenwade followed in the evening by a meal at a nearby location.
    Sunday will be a private visit to the RAF Air Defence Museum where a finger buffet will be available.
    Pre-booking will be required for the evening meal and Sunday buffet.

  2. MG Spain 2016

     

    The northernmost of Spain’s Costas, the Costa Brava is probably the prettiest of all. It’s made up of rugged cliffs and secluded coves, which give way to fishing villages and seaside towns. And in among it all are the long beaches that have been attracting holidaymakers here many decades. Includes a whole week to explore Costa Brava including option to visit Barcelona, stays in 3 and 4 star Spanish Parador hotels, breakfast & evening dinners included each day and Return Brittany Ferries crossings with cabins & dinner onboard outbound crossing.  Tour price: £1,599 per person (based on 2 people in a car sharing a double or twin room).

  3. The Nelson County Car Run

    A gentle run of 70 miles around quiet roads of Norfolk finishing at a National Trust property. Entry £20 per car including welcome bacon buttie and coffee tea at start. Proceeds to The Hamlet Centre Trust.  Entry limited to 150 cars.

  4. The 21st Beacons Run

     

    The run is being organised by Swansea MG Enthusiast's Club. Closing date for entries to guarantee a plaque is 1st September. The run will start at Ammanford. The proceeds will go to Cancer Research Swansea. Entry fee is £18 per car.

  5. MG Brittany 2016

    This area of France has hosted our Autumn Brittany tour for a number of years. For 2016 we are returning to the Atlantic port town of Vannes, where our hotel overlooks the picturesque harbour. From our relaxing hotel you will be able to explore the rugged coasts, preserved medieval towns and protected sea-line that dominates the beautiful area.   6. The 2016 Autumn Gold Run

     

    The 2016 Autumn Gold Run will start at Over Community Centre near to MGOC Headquaters with a breakfast roll and hot drink. The route will take you through the picturesque lanes of Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire to the Milton KeynesMuseum. There is a large display of interesting exhibits to view ranging from an Anderson Shelter to a historic High Street set up where you step back in time to walk down a bustling High Street contain individual shops. Price of £29 per car of two people, includes breakfast roll, route pack, parking, entry to the museum and parking. There is also an optional tour of MGOC HQ.   7. The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show

     

    There's a mouth-watering array of classic cars on display at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show this year. Taking place at the NEC near Birmingham The MG Owners’ Club will be there with a stand full of goodies and the opportunity to speak to our technical advisors, memberships team, magazine department, workshop manager and the spares department.   8. The Famous Christmas Cracker Run

     

     

    The MG Cumbria annual festive event in the Lake District. Join in the 70 mile route from Penrith to Keswick. Decorate your cars, dress up, quizzes and enjoy coffee and biscuits and a two course lunch and coffee at the finish, after which you can visit the Keswick Christmas Fayre.
