Iain's 1970 BGT engine (out of car)

My stage 2, home built engine, ready to be dropped into my 1970 MGB GT. With 1868cc capacity and piper 270 cam, it is pictured here with the standard head. This has since been replaced with a gas flowed head. This is far and away the most advanced mechanical work I have done on the car. Far easier than I had expected!I thought I'd paint it green just to be different! It is a colour that is common for A series engines. For more pics see my website, which is linked from the links page.
