  1. Picnic and Gathering at Amberley Chalk Pit Museum

    Come and join the Chichester MGOC in the heart of the South Downs, at this unique venue. Amberley Museum brings to life the industrial and transport heritage of Sussex with a vintage bus service, light railway and many exhibitions. No need to book. Just pay on the day. Gates open at 9am.   2. Rotary Club of Croydon Jubilee's Charity Classic Car Run

    This annual event will be once again starting at Denbies Wine Estate. The price is £45 and includes the car, driver and one passenger, a run pack, route guide; finisher’s plaque. Additional passengers are £5 each. Due to the popularity of this event, space is limited to 120 cars and will be offered on a first come first served basis.   3. Durham MG Club's Bobby Shafto Hills of the North Run

    The 17thBobby Shafto run leaves the Beamish Hall Hotel at 10am covering approximately 100 miles. Entry is £20 per car and includes route book, rally board and refreshments.   4. The GVEC Glossop Car Show

    Taking place at Manor Park, Glossop. All cars and vehicles welcome to this show. Pre booking is essential to reserve a space and costs £4. There will also be first come first served spaces available on the day, at £5. Visit www.gvec.club

  5. Bridgend MGOC Cwm to Coast Run 2019

    This year’s run will take in the stunning scenery of the West Wales Vales & Valleys. Any type or make of vehicle is most welcome. All proceeds to be shared between local charities.   6. The Wolds Way Run

    A full day taking you over the Yorkshire Wolds starting at the Rose Bowl Fountain, Kingston Upon Hull and finishing at the Cave Castle Hotel, South Cave, with the option to dine. Open to MG and all marques of classic and vintage cars. Pre-booking essential MGOC and MGCC members £15, non-members £20 per car. Donations from the proceeds to Yorkshire Cancer Research and Dove House Hospice. Details and entry forms (via email or number below).

  7. The Durham MG Club All MG and Classic Car Show

  8. Cheshire Candles Charity Run

    Great driving roads, wonderful venues, fantastic views, scenic picnic areas...we have it all! Join West Cheshire MGOC for their fifth annual charity run from Holt, near Chester, to Erddig Hall near Wrexham via Alderford Lake. The entry fee is £20 per car, and is open to all MG models and other makes of classics in production prior to 1979. Subject to availability, Fuzz Townshend will be at the start once again.   9. Brittany & Normandy Tour

    Chichester MGOC’s 7-8 day tour of ‘Brittany & Normandy’ starts with an early morning ferry from Portsmouth on Tuesday 14th May. The tour goes along the spectacular north coast of Brittany, through the Arree & Noires Mountains into central Brittany and Suisse Normandy, while finding time to visit a few historic towns and the Normandy Beaches. Totalling 1,000 miles along quiet roads and through beautiful French countryside, with its slow pace of life and fine cuisine, the tour ends with a daytime ferry back to Portsmouth on Tuesday 21st May.

    To minimise costs, early block bookings have been made for eleven cars at 2/3 star hotels and ferry crossings. Places are now offered to all MGOC members. Total costs, including return ferries, hotels, breakfasts and dinners, are approx £700 per person; based on 2 people in a car sharing a double room, 

    Those interested should also allow for fuel costs and a £60 kitty to cover rally boards and incidentals, and should contact Colin (see number/email below).

  10. Rotary Club of East Sutherland Classic Car Tour

    This year join the Rotary Club of East Sutherland will be travelling from Dornoch on the East coast of Scotland through the stunning Highland scenery of Sutherland to Ullapool for lunch. The return route follows the Oykel Valley finishing at Dunrobin Castle, the ancestral home of the Dukes of Sutherland. In the evening, there will be ceilidh.
