Travel Club - MGOC Tours

MG Ireland
Balymena, County Antrim
19th – 23rd April 2018

The beautiful Causeway coast and the neighbouring glens of Antrim are beckoning for our annual MG Ireland tour. Whilst the enigmatic basalt columns of Giant’s Causeway undoubtedly stand as the focal point for this part of Ireland, they are just one part of this scenic coastal road that traverses bridges, arches and cliffs as well as castles, beaches and an historic brewery. This MG Ireland tour may well be a lesson in history, heritage, geology and biology but most of all it will be fun with friends in our MGs.
- Return ferry crossings to Ireland with Stena Line
- 4 nights at the Galgorm Resort and Spa
- Welcome BBQ and evening tour dinner
- Tour of Bushmills Distillery
Tour Price: £579.00 per person (based on 2 people in a car sharing a double/twin room)

MG Normandy
Bagnoles, Suisse Normande
27th September – 1st October 2018
Just a few miles from the Normandy coast, the Orne River has carved dramatic meanders and gorges in to the rocks of this part of France giving rise to its nickname “the Norman Switzerland”. Whilst it cannot claim the peaks of the Alps, the hills do reach over 1,000 feet, and this tour will explore this beautiful region on sweeping rural roads and coastal lanes. The tour will take in the timber-framed buildings of the village of Camembert (and perhaps some of the local cheese) as well as the 18th century equestrian stud “Haras du Pin” that combines royal architecture with impressive horses. There will also be opportunities to visit the Normandy beaches before returning back home.
- Brittany Ferris crossings from Portsmouth to St. Malo & return from Caen to Portsmouth
- 3 nights at the Hotel du Beryl on a B&B basis
- Group dinner together on outbound crossing

Tour Price: £455.00 per person (based on on 2 people in a car sharing a double/twin room)
