MG VA
MG VA - Reg: MG 6023 - I am trying to trace an MG I owned back in the 1960's. It's an MG VA open top tourer, 1500cc. With knock on type wire wheels. It had number plate, MG 6023 which I was told was one of a few that MG factory registered themselves. I had it for 2 years and managed to get it through x 2 MOT tests at the time. I put a new hood on it and repaired the engine. The poor white metal shells though were worn. I found new tyres for it at the local tip. It was green in colour. I was living in Rottingdean near Brighton, East Sussex and I sold it to people from Woodingdean, the next door village. Any ideas where it may be? I am hoping it is still in one piece and someone is enjoying owning / driving it. RogerStorey@uk.agcocorp.com

MGB GT - Reg: FEW364D - I was wondering if anybody could help me find the above MGBGT. My father bought the car brand new in March 1966 from Sycamores in Ramsey Cambridgeshire. I never saw the car as they sold it around 1970. I have many pictures and used to look at them as a child and hear stories about the car. I would love to trace this for two reasons. I would like to own an MGBGT and this is the one I would love to bring back to the family. If this is not possible it would be nice to provide the owner with some history to accompany the car.  MGB GT - Reg: SGW 458L - Twenty years ago I drove a bronze-yellow MGB GT I had owned since 1976 into a barn in darkest Essex for storage, intending to restore it when I returned from the US. Six years later I sold it to the farmer as he wanted to restore it. He didn't and sold it on. The registration number was SGW 458L - anyone know what became of it? Email: dave_spalding@hotmail.com dave_spalding@hotmail.com
MGB GT - Reg: TAH 705N - According to DVLA website the car is still on the road and its current owner has taxed the vehicle until 01 06 2010. The car is a UK original Right hand drive; its colour is I believe original MG Harvest Gold.
The car was sold sometime in the mid 1990's in the Norwich, Norfolk area and had undergone a reasonable amount of restoration work, I am not sure how many owners it has had since.
I would like to trace the car and know of its whereabouts and condition, it has sentimental value as the car belonged to a family member, I would consider buying the car back should it ever become available. I will offer a reward of £100 worth of MG Owners Club shop merchandise to anyone who can successfully put me in contact with the current owner. Email: elliott03@cytanet.com.cy

MGB ROADSTER
1964 MGB ROADSTER - Reg: CTY140B - I have rebuilt an iris blue 1964 MGB Roadster over a period on time, I have been unable to find the original owner, I tried the DVLC, they have sent me their records of the car which only go back to the 70s, with 5 owners, I have written to all these and only had one reply, I was told by the DVLA that the Reg CTY140B was issued by the Northunberland County Council on 6-9 July 1964, the car was dispatched to A Smart Ltd Newcastle-on-Tyne on the 17 July 64 who said the records for 1964 were more than likely thrown out. So 1974 is as far as I can go back, it would be super if I could find the original owner. Please contact me at: c.e.lanning@homecall.co.uk c.e.lanning@homecall.co.uk
MGB ROADSTER - Reg TVS50R. - I have recently bought this car and it has obviously had a recent rebuild and I wondered if anyone out there had any prior knowledge of it. It was sold from a garage in Taunton in June 2009 and I bought it in November 2009 from that buyer. I think it lived all its life till now, in the Taunton area. Any info would be really appreciated. Please contact me at johnbow11@hotmail.com Thank you for any help. John johnbow11@hotmail.com
MGB ROADSTER - Reg: ALX 150H - I have recently bought a BRG MGB Roadster registration ALX 150H. This is an original English car and was exported to Ireland some time in the past ten years. It was traded by an Irish dealer against a caravan or motor home, with the intention of restoring it. The restoration was partially completed and the car bought by a dealer in Kent who sold it to me. I think it may have been first registered in Chichester and is now on its original plates. I would be grateful for any information about it. Pease reply to :- nickandsal@uwclub.net nickandsal@uwclub.net
MGB ROADSTER - Reg: BCT 392B - I am trying to trace my fathers old 1964 MGB Roadster, tartan red. He purchased the car in 1971 when it had approx 69,000 showing. I have my fathers sales invoice dated April 1971 when he purchased it from Eric C Burtons in Grimsby, I do believe it was fitted with a hardtop at the time. I have had a look on the DVLA website and believe the car is still around. If you have any info, or even better a pic that would be greatly appreciated. There are 2 further MGs he owned MG Midget in racing green, reg 627 SBF, and a 1972 MGB GT, reg SJV 85 H. I do believe these two have been scrapped, but if you know otherwise, it would be nice to hear that they are still about. Email: andrewdyson71@hotmail.com

MGB ROADSTER - Reg: ETB 540 B - After 33 years I have finally once again become the proud owner of an MGB Roadster I got my first one for my 18th birthday and actually learnt to drive in it. Sadly due to financial restrictions I had to sell it and spent the next 15 years driving Spitfires. I finally changed to "sensible" cars after the birth of my daughter but at long last have managed to return to my first love. Here in Mallorca it is possible to drive topless for 9 months of the year and apart from the odd case of sunburn am loving it. I often wonder what became of my first car. When I sold her she was black with a gold hardtop and cream soft top. I will never forget her name - ETB 540 B. Is she still around? I would love to hear from her current driver if she managed to survive the British winters. I adored her and cried as she drove off into the sunset with a new owner behind the wheel but I can smile once again as I proudly weave my head turner in and out of the traffic looking pityingly at the oh so common cars cluttering up the motorways.  MGB ROADSTER - Reg: HPG 67C. - I’m trying to locate an MGB Roadster on behalf of a longstanding family friend. The car was a British Racing Green MGB Roadster registered new in 1965 as HPG 67C and our friend John purchased the car brand new whilst living in Surrey. The car had a black leather interior piped in white and was fitted with wire wheels and overdrive both being an option at the time. The MGB was owned by John between 1965 and 1968 when it was sold. Unfortunately thereafter we have no idea what has happened to the car and would be keen to confirm if it’s still around or became victim to the dreaded rust bug. Email: Peter.Childs@uk.bp.com

MGB ROADSTER - Reg: UEL 224J - I have recently purchased an MGB Roadster reg no UEL 224J from Bury St Edmunds area. The vehicle is a very clean example OEW and has previously had extensive restoration work carried out I believe approx 4 years ago. When purchased, only the past 4 years MOT certificates were available during which time it has covered less than 1,000 miles. During July 2006 the vehicle was MOT'd in Newark near Nottingham. I am therefore keen to find out the full history of this vehicle. Please contact me on richarddavis1@tiscali.co.uk if you or anyone can assist. Many thanks. richarddavis1@tiscali.co.uk
