Carrick-on-Suir Motor Club 50th Anniversary Vintage and Classic Speed Hill Climb, Ireland 2008. To celebrate our 50th anniversary we are holding a Vintage and Classic Hill Climb for cars and motorcycles. On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2008 we will be using two different hills on consecutive days. Motorcars classes from the Edwardian period up to 1980 will be catered for. Motorcycle classes from the Veteran period up to 1970 will be catered for Racing and standard machine are invited to take part on closed roads in the counties Tipperary and Waterford in Ireland, the two hills used, will be fast and challenging with good surfaces. All motorcar and motorcycle clubs and individuals are invited to this very well organised event. Traditional Irish hospitality, friendship and great racing is a certainty. Generous sponsorship from the ferry services is being negotiated to make this event a must for the truly competitive racing person. Limited entries are available. The Normandy-Maine Classic. Retro Rallye Sport invites you to a French regularity event aimed at British owners of Vintage and Classic cars. Lasting five days and four nights in the lovely Normandy region of France. The event finishes on 11th July at Le Mans in time for the start of the Le Mans Classic race meeting - an event not to be missed! The itinerary takes you through the most attractive parts of Normandy. The route has been selected to give the navigators a chance to demonstrate their skills, while allowing the drivers some fun on fabulous empty French roads. A full road book of the route will be issued. Navigation will be by tulips or map tracings, and all instructions will be in English. Competitors make their own way to Dieppe ready for the start on Monday morning. The entry fee of 2660 euros includes a weekend pass to the event, but accommodation for the weekend is not included. 29th Annual MGs on the Rocks Car Show and Parts Market - MGs of Baltimore Hundreds of MG and other British Car owners and enthusiasts from across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region will gather on Saturday, September 27, 2008 for this one day event. The event will be held at ROCKS STATE PARK - 4-H CAMP, the field opens at 9:00 am. Awards will be presented at 3:30 pm to the top three cars in each class. The show is open to all British cars.
