Goodwood Festival of Speed
Once again the Festival produced yet another weekend of fuel injected glamour as so many race, rally and performance cars representing each golden era of motor sport gathered outside Goodwood House for the ultimate sprint meeting.
The Festival provides each visitor with a unique closeness to the action and brings the sounds, smells and the sheer tyre smoking performance of so many wonderful cars to life.
This year’s theme of the weekend was racing colours and this was expressed vividly by the red of a Ferrari or Alfa, the blue of a Bugatti or a Simca Gordini, the white of a Mercedes and the racing green of a Bentley, Aston Martin or Jaguar. Extraordinary atmosphere at Goodwood with the gleam of highly polished classic coachwork set against a sound track of racing open exhausts and all experienced at very close quarters.
