MG Motor UK is celebrating another win at the annual Carbuyer Best Car Awards, with its MG ZS EV named ‘best family electric car’ for 2023.

Carbuyer’s expert team of highly experienced journalists and road testers recommended the ZS EV, due to its ‘electric motor and a battery pack offering better performance, significantly lower running costs and an altogether nicer driving experience.’

The ZS EV Long Range is priced from £29,495 and offers up to 273 miles of range on the WLTP cycle. It can also be charged to 80% in just over an hour using a 50kW public rapid charger and is backed up by a comprehensive seven-year warranty.

Last year, Carbuyer’s sister publication and leading electric vehicle title DrivingElectric recognised the ZS EV as winner of its ‘Car of the Year 2022’ category. The compact SUV has also enjoyed wins at several major new car award events throughout 2022.
