MGOC Practical Workshops – Classic & Modern MGs

There will be 3 concurrent practical demonstrations:
- Classic two seater MGs 1955 onwards
- Modern two seater MGs 1995 – 2010
- Bodywork and Trim
For both Classic and Modern demonstrations the following topics will be covered:
- Annual service essentials
- Pre-MOT preparation
- Cooling system
- Electrical testing
- Fuel and ignition check
- Suspension and brakes
For bodywork and trim demonstrations the following topics will be covered:
- MGB GT screen and chrome trim replacement
- Seat strip to include foam and webbing replacement
- Carpet and trim replacement
- Paintwork and trim detailing
- Machine polishing bodywork
- Hood fitting
- Window mechanism overhaul
- MGB waistline trim replacement
