The Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show is the show to attend whether you are looking to reignite your passion for cars, finish a restoration project, purchase a classic, or simply want to reminisce with family and friends over the beautiful completed classic cars on display.

A Cross-Club Fundraising Event at Bicester Motion
StarterMotor Charity is delighted to announce the inaugural StarterMotor Festival, an exclusive, cross–car club fundraising event taking place at Bicester Motion, Oxfordshire, on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May 2026.
Designed to bring together classic and historic car clubs in support of StarterMotor’s charitable work, the two-day event will combine driving experiences, friendly competition and unique access to one of the UK’s most historic automotive venues.
Friday 1st May – Demonstration Track Experience
Friday afternoon will offer participants the opportunity to access the Demonstration Track. This is your chance to experience the thrill of circuit driving in your own car in a low-pressure, controlled and supportive environment.
In addition to track sessions, attendees will enjoy exclusive access to activities across Bicester Motion’s historic site. While the full programme is still being finalised, plans include:

Saturday 2nd May – AutoSolo Event
On Saturday, the focus shifts to friendly competition with a specially designed AutoSolo event held on the track. Invited clubs and their members will have the opportunity to test their precision and car control in a series of enjoyable and accessible courses.
With space to relax, bring a picnic and enjoy Bicester Motion’s unique surroundings, Saturday offers a relaxed yet engaging conclusion to what promises to be a memorable two-day fundraising festival.
Please note that AutoSolo entries are limited to 50 spaces, so early registration is encouraged.
Entry and Booking Information
While capacity for Friday’s track session is relatively open, places for the AutoSolo are limited. If you are interested in attending either or both days, please email info@startermotor.co to register your interest and help us gauge numbers.
Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must attend as members of their respective invited car clubs and agree to Bicester Motion’s Demonstration Track terms and conditions (available via the Bicester Motion website).

The 34th Heritage Run organised by Broadland MGOC starts at Caister-on-Sea lifeboat station for a scenic tour through the Norfolk countryside finishing at a mystery location. Enjoy a fantastic run through Cheshire on roads less travelled. Starting at Bellis Brothers Farm Shop, Holt, Wrexham, LL13 9YU and finishing Gawsworth Hall, Church Lane, Gawsworth, Macclesfield, SK11 9RN. Entry fee of just £27 per car which includes entry to the hall's grounds, rally plaque and goody bag. Pre -booked light refreshments from the tea room and an optional tour of the hall are also available. Bring your own picnic to eat in the gardens. All proceeds will be used to support SPACE, a Chester based charity who provide accessible play and support to children with additional needs and also support to their families. Join us for another exciting day exploring the North Yorkshire moors and surrounding countryside. The event has moved to a new location on the Malton Road just outside Pickering, called the Galtres Retreat & Lodge Park, YO18 8EA. There is a cafe onsite that will be serving reasonably priced hot drinks and sandwiches. We are again supporting the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and all proceeds raised will be given to YAA. Last year we gave them a cheque for £5,171.00 Please go to the club website where you can download a registration form. Price is £25 per car if registered before the event and on the day the fee will be £30. We look forward to welcoming you back if you have supported us before and to any new drivers who would like to bring their cars along. There will be prizes awarded for the following.
